Robert C. Dauffenbach is Senior Associate Dean for Economic Development, Professor of Business Administration, and Director, Center for Economic and Management Research, Michael F. Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma.  He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  He joined the faculty at Oklahoma State University in 1977 and served as Director, Office of Business and Economic Research, 1985-1990.  He assumed duties as Director, Center for Economic and Management Research, University of Oklahoma, in the fall of 1990.  He served as Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Program, 2002-2013.  In 2014, he was named McCasland Foundation Professor of American Free Enterprise and Senior Associate Dean for Economic Development.  In October 2015 he was inducted into the Oklahoma Higher Education Hall of Fame.
