Rotary Road Rally at the Lakes 2021



When:  Saturday, October 23, registration opens at 8am.  The 50-mile and 37-mile rides begin at 9am.  The 3-mile Family Ride starts at 10am.
Where:  Start and finish at Little River Marina, 13801 Marina Rd at Lake Thunderbird, Norman, OK
What: Bicycle tour through the scenic roads of Lake Thunderbird and Lake Draper
Distances: 3, 37, and 50 miles
Why: To support the Norman Rotary Club's grant initiatives for non-profits as well as scholarships for high school students
Cost:  Pre-registration is $35 per person and day-of-event registration is $40
Preregistration deadline:  October 18, 2021
Ride Includes:  T-shirt, SAG support, and rest tops as well as a catered cookout, a free craft beer, and live music after the ride
Packet Pickup:  Packets can be picked up the day of the event

New, Improved Rotary Road Rally Set for October 23

The Rotary Road Rally is returning for another run this fall, so circle Oct. 23 on your calendars and plan to head back to Norman for a great ride, great food and even more.

The Norman Rotary Club has renamed its 2021 event Rotary Road Rally at the Lakes. The new and improved event will start at Little River Marina, 13801 Marina Road, on Lake Thunderbird and will follow new 50- and 37-mile routes through rural east Norman, then north to Draper Lake Trail, then east of Draper to the adjacent hill country before returning to Lake Thunderbird. A three-mile family ride within the state park begins at 10 a.m.

The ride will be fully supported with rest stops and SAG vehicles, and back at the marina, riders will be treated to a free catered cookout, a free craft beer, live music, and a t-shirt. Day of registration is $40, and preregistration is $35.
