Water project

From 2013 through 2017 Engineers In Action (EIA) designed and constructed a water system in Komucala Bolivia.  Komucala is a village of 25 families (125 people) located in the Andes Mountain Range near Lake Titicaca, northwest of La Paz Bolivia.  The water system was completed and in operation by the Fall of 2017 at a total cost of $125,000 US dollars.  A group of Rotarians from District 5770 conducted a site visit from July 19-25, 2018.  The Rotary team consisted of: Tom Cooper, Harry Cooper, Dr. Davis Sabatini, Dr. Robert Nairn, and Neil Robinson.

Phase 2 of the project consists of installing latrines in each household.  To date, 5 of 25 latrines have been installed.
