Previous Member of Norman Rotary from 12/1/1988 to 8/9/2010.  Served on the Board of Directors, and Chaired  the Community Projects Funding Committee.
Reinstated February, 2017. He is currently serving on the Le Tour de Vin fundraising committee.

Doane is a native Oklahoman who grew up in Altus and Norman. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, BBA in Accounting, and also the University of Texas, Austin, MBA. He served in the US Army as a finance officer in Germany, active duty 1969-70.  He began his accounting career in Denver with Arthur Anderson & Co., and moved back to Norman in 1977.  Doane and his wife Julie have been married for 48 years.  They have four children and two grandchildren. He has been active in the community with the Norman Regional Hospital Foundation, and serves on the Investment Committee of NRH.  Doane’s interests and activities include vintage auto restoration, vintage auto racing, BMW club events, golf, fishing, hunting and travel.  Member of Wildwood Community Church.
