Safari & Hunting

Steve Scott is a reformed attorney, former college professor, and a full time outdoor communicator with a passion to advocate the cause of sportsmen & women. 

Recognized as an advocate of hunter’s right’s, Scott is the producer and host of the award-winning Safari Hunter’s Journal and Smith & Wesson’s Outdoor Guide television series on Sportsman Channel.  He was a board member of Safari Club International Foundation’s Humanitarian Services committee, serving as chair of Sportsmen Against Hunger,  He is also a past chairman of the board of directors of the Professional Outdoor Media Association, and served as a director of the US Olympic Shooting Team Foundation. 

Scott taught in the Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma from 1987 to 2007, receiving the Most Inspiring Faculty Award as an adjunct instructor.  Scott has testified on behalf of sportsmen before the US House Natural Resources & the Senate Environment & Public Works Committee’s and is a frequent civic club and dinner speaker.
